IRONMAN® 70.3® World ChampionshipZell am See-Kaprun
IRONMAN® 70.3® World Championship Zell am See-Kaprun took place on 30 August 2015. It began with a 1.9km / 1.2 mile swim course that was divided into two 935m long course sections out and back with a 30m gap between the two turn around buoys. Buoys are designed to alternate between large and small and are of a different colour every 50m. This was followed by a 90km bike course that consisted of 900 meters of climbing and some speedy sections on fast roads. The race was finally completed with a new two-lap run course that followed the picturesque Zeller lake. The highlight of the run course was the run through the old town of Zell am See..
